Brady only has one class on Friday, so after he came home from school we all decided to go to the park and take some grub with us, aka KFC.... aka delicious. Let me tell you, it was fabulous except for the part where they didn't except our coupon, forgot to give us napkins (I forgot wipes too.. oops), and they didn't give us a spoon to eat our mashed potatoes....
But it was worth it
soooo worth it

This past weekend we have the opportunity to go with my Dad and his wife, Sally to Remlinger Farms to pick some pumpkins! We went last year as well and we hope this will continue to be a family tradition! I had a blast taking pictures of the kids and I'm looking forward to Halloween coming up in a few weeks!

Berry Picking

So on our way home from Utah to Washington we decided to make a pit stop in Twin Falls Idaho to visit with Bradys sister Dawnette and her cute little family. They are the sweetest family every and we always have such an amazing time with them. So much so that we always hate leaving! Hopefully we can live nearer to them in the future because I love this family so much! We miss them already. But they always have fun things to do when we are there and this time we were all able to go to a raspberry patch and pick to our hearts content! It was such a fun time and we are thankful to have a few pounds of raspberries to last us through the winter.

So funny story, we are all picking and munching on berries (probably more munching) and all of the sudden we here our Brother-in-law Adam yell, "DAWNETTE!! I HAVE NO CLUE HOW THIS HAPPENED" we were all a little worried at first but soon it was clear that no one was hurt or in danger, but that someone had been into a little raspberry mischief.

This is what we found when we came over to the car.... a whole flat of berries riuned!! but how you ask?

This little munchkin thought it would be fun to play in a flat of raspberries...

But when life gives you squished raspberries what do you do??

Make raspberry ice cream of course!!

Meggles comes to Seattle

So ma little sister Meggles, has come to visit us this week. So far it has been a blast! We've been doing some shopping, going on walks with the kids, playing at the park. We also went to the Zoo one morning and we're planning on going to the Aquarium tomorrow! It has been such a blast to have her here. I moved out so long ago that her and I haven't really gotten to spend a lot of time together so it was nice to be able to do so.

Okay, So I've been making lots of goodies around the house due to mothers day, fathers day and my cousins baby shower!

now this little gem is something I made for my madre, a thank you for helping out with the kids when I had my last baby

I love it! It was hard to give away, but I have such an amazing mom that she totally deserves it!!

It was such a wonderful day and we felt very blessed to have Brady's family up from Arizona to see her blessing

fun filled weekend

So this last weekend we decided to "get away" and go to my dads house for the weekend we had an awesome time together and were able to do some fun things that we normally wouldn't have been able to like go to some garage sales and actually go on a date without the kiddos..
it was heavenly I tell you, pure heaven...

on sunday the weather was gorgeous so we just had to spend it outside playing on the playset my parents have in their backyard.. it was so fun to be able to finally spend some time outside playing!
